Vass Productions has a dedicated team who are passionate about the development of new and original works for stage and screen in line with our objectives and values.
Our plan over the 2021 – 2026 period will mainly focus on the following areas:
- Writers – we believe this is the starting point of any successful show.
- Staging theatrical works – developing new works and staging shows that engage and entertain audiences.
- Touring – it is important that new plays and musical works have the ongoing opportunity for investors to gain a return on investment within the Australian market and within the larger international markets.
- Venue development – systems and practices are important to the ongoing viability of staging works. The Alex Theatre project in St Kilda is an ongoing testbed to review current practices and develop new ways of staging productions.
- Marketing – investment in new online broadcast shows to promote the Australian creative industry to the widest possible market.
